Checking timing without removing clutch possible?
Have a 295 on a 95 EZGO TXT. We are getting it fine tuned and the bugs worked out. It had no power going on flat ground would move under 4-5mph. Got a new carb and fuel pump, we wanted to check the timing and adjust the valves.
Is there any way to verify timing without tearing off the clutch? Or can a compression gauge or leakdown tester confirm if its where it should be?nwe can get it as close to TDC as possible. Thanks guy, we have 3 weeks untill vacation got to get this sorted out. Can rebuild a small block chevy with my eyes closed but these little things freak me out a little |
