Default 2002 Ezgo gas. Something missing Choke?

I bought an Ezgo gas cart it runs perfect but this is annoying me. And I wonder if it will allways run perfect. Check out photos obviously something missing. I think no choke.

What should I do or just not worry about it

I don't know how you can tell if the choke is missing from them pictures, take the hose off and look in the opening of the carburetor.

I have a gas cart in the past and it had a choke knob. This one does not. I have done some research. I'm looking at the air clean assembly. The one opening has red electric tape in it. Looks like something should connect to it.

the missing part by the red tape is simply a hose that connects to the air intake, 80% of used carts don't have them and it has absolutely nothing to do with running, other than slightly decreasing intake noise - I'm heading to the shop in a bit and will snap a pic of the missing part, but seriously I wouldn't think twice about it.

Look at the carb right by the intake, there should be 2 levers, one hooked to a linkage rod that goes straight down and one with a spot for a cable to hook up - that one is where your choke cable should be.

If it's running good with no choke cable. Is that okay to leave that way?

Aw hell, sorry I forgot to snap a pic for You .... Seriously, if it's runnning good without it, run it. You'll likely need it on some cold damp evening eventually so it's best if we figure out what the deal is though ... Give me 10min I'll run over to the shop and snap/upload a pic

Sorry about the delay getting the pics up, the first is the intake off a Workhorse, it's just a tube that allows the air cleaner to pull air from under the drivers legs instead of in the engine compartment (totally unneccesary) ... The second is of the same carb as yours, the front lever (with the silver cable going to it) is the choke ... Your air cleaner is a different style (round vs square) but the carbs are identical, that's where your choke should be.

Installing the choke? Is it pretty self explanatory. I'm going to order one and try to install.
