Default Ez Go shuttle

A guy in my neighborhood is selling his Ez Go Shuttle cart, I think 2001. He didn't know much of the technical information about the cart, but in my quick look it has a 48volt system (6x8 setup), batteries are from Jan 14 (water levels were good upon inspection). Motor is an Advanced DC, model #A95-4005A. Part Number 73124G02. Cart is in fair shape cosmetically, needs some TLC. Currently runs approx 13-14 mph. Brakes may have been sticking slightly.... looked like hydraulic brake system?? Seats are in decent shape, tires are balding. Frame appears to be solid with minimal rust. If purchased, I would like to do a lift/tires and possibly larger controller and or motor. The guy is asking $2000 obo for it. I know it is hard to tell from these photos, but what are your thoughts?

That's a pretty good deal. I would buy it in a heart beat.

I have this cart in the utility model. Slow but steady. I have a high torque motor in mine with Alltrax AXE 500 control

I have an older version of an EZ Go shuttle, 1991, that I bought a couple of years ago for 2k. It was 36v and I did an 48v upgrade to it. 2k for the cart, 1k for the upgrade, another $700 for the new batteries. The batteries were a bit a push, though, as I had a older cart restoration that I needed the 36v ones in it anyway. I was spending $700 for batts shuttle or no shuttle.

Still, I have 3k+ into mine and I actually think it's still a fair deal. 2k for yours is way worth it.

Apparently he got it. I talked to the guy Monday, agreed on a price, pick up time and thought it was mine. Seller called me this afternoon and said he sold it to someone in his neighborhood. I was close..... but the search continues

Bull203- Small world. The seller did let me know that If I didn't pick it up, he had someone lined up from Panama Beach. It's a solid rig, needs some cosmetics, but has good bones.

Anyone have experience with lifting these? I've heard there are potential issues with the brake configuration on the rear axle making it difficult to find the right
lift.

As far as new wheels, current hubs are 5 lug. Is there an option to utilize an adapter to run a more common 4 lug golf cart wheel, or can you change hub configuration?

Thanks
