Ezgo was running super fast then shut off and won't run

2013 ezgo 48 volt 2 month old Trojans. Cart has been running fine until this morning. Full charged last night. Was driving it this morning and all of a sudden the cart started running way faster than top speed. Then it shut off and will no go now. There is no Solenoid click. Not sure what happened.

What controller is in the cart?

It's a Curtis grey case on it. Looks the same as a club car Precedent

Can you give a model # on that controller?
I think the model may be the issue.

That is the TXT48 controller, I have this cart but, I have not heard of this problem. I'm not wanting going venture a guess. But if I had to - I would guess speed magnet or controller failure.

I'm going to talk with my Ezgo dealer later - I'll ask if he knows and post it here if I find anything

Never heard of an HB with a grey lid...probably still doesn't have a status light. Happen to have a handset to read codes?

I have access to a handheld. I will get it and see what it says. My feeling is it is the controller only because it didn't go into a limp mode. It just totally quit and I have no Solenoid click at all. Only micro under floor is clicking. This would not be anything to do with the ITS would it????

That control limits motor rpm - any increase in rpm while operating had to be a failure somewhere - ?

Sorry I never got to talk with my dealer yesterday.
