Default EZGO txt brake switch

I installed a aftermarket light kit on my ezgo txt. It has a steeling 6" lift and 23" tires. I also installed 2" spacers.

The tires mad contact with the brake light switch.the switch is now broke.

1. Where can I get another brake light switch?
2. does anyone have any recommendations on how to protect the switch in the future or is there a way to install a steering stop?

Can you post a picture of whats left of your switch? Might be able to identify it.

As far as a steering stop yes one could be fabricated and either welded to the "C" part of the axle where the spindle mounts or to the steering arm that is part of the spindle.

Another option is the recreate what the factory did for the brake switch. Or get one of the aftermarket switches that is part of the brake pedal pad.

It appears something else hit it. I was able to fix the rubbing by making a bump stop.
I used a m10x70mm bolt if you go with a longer threaded bolt you can add a nut and make the bump stop adjustable
