Should have got a bigger controller when you were buying one, oh well to late now (unless you got endless supply of green). I would move towards a Plum Quick torque motor. I dont see cost verses gain by going with a bigger controller at this point .

I don't need 25mph. Most applications I've seen with "torque" motors and 23" tires will yield 25ish mph anyway. So one vote for a larger controller while I'm at it...can anyone else chime in to let me know if I won't be happy in my situation with keeping the 500amp?
