Re: looking for part name for back seat screw
They are called T-Nuts, they range from a buck up to 3 bucks at lowes. You will find them in the specialty bins in the hardware section.
https://www.lowes.com/pl/Tee-nuts-Nu...rchTerm=t+nuts If you input your zipcode, and choose your store their website will tell you exactly where they are located in the store. |

Re: looking for part name for back seat screw
I shouldn't generalize, when I said HD and Lowes employees are morons. I never need them, as I can find everything I need, but when I'm dirty from working on a project and need a part, I often send my wife and say, "get one of these". We have all three stores about the same distance from us, and decades of experience have taught us, more than half the time, it takes several employees to find the part, and often she would get frustrated and go to another store. Ace is probably more expensive, but she's never come back empty-handed.

Re: looking for part name for back seat screw
Car parts are easier, as just about anything serious requires a clerk to look it up on a computer. Anything easy, I generally buy. Serious stuff means I'm up to my armpits in grease, and had to tear things apart before I knew what I needed.
