Have you tried to get the cart to give you a code? key off. run/tow switch to run. move f/r from neutral to rev. 5 times. listen for codes.

The only reasons for over heating would be things such as too much regen braking, or the brakes dragging.

I'm going to look into the brakes dragging, while the cart was on stands, it did sound to be dragging.

Oddly enough, I went to get a voltage reading on the resistor and the **** thing started driving around. Took it around the neighborhood twice for about 15 minutes. All connections were tight to begin with so I don't know. I'm going to ride it around a little longer later today.
