Does the engine rev up but the cart just won’t move?

The engine stays at the same speed when you press the pedal.

Re: Help with a 1993 Yamaha G8 gas golf cart
That tells me that the starter is turning the motor over but it's not firing so turn it over for awhile and pull the spark plug see if it's wet or dry if it's wet it's ignition issue if it's dry it's fuel issue report back and we can go from there

Re: Help with a 1993 Yamaha G8 gas golf cart
First pull the fuel inlet hose off the carb and turn motor over you should get a nice pulsing stream of fuel if you don't check the fuel tank make sure pick-up tube hasn't fallen off also blow air through the pulse line back into the crank case if those don't fix your issues it's likely a fuel pump... If you do get a stream of fuel then a good carb cleaning is in order

Re: Help with a 1993 Yamaha G8 gas golf cart
Did you spin it over while you had the spark plug out? Does it have compression?

I'm getting a good stream coming from fuel pump. Yes, It has compression. Fixing to take carb off and clean it. So as I put it back on and see what it does I'll get back to you . Thanks for the help.

Does the throttle shaft move when you push the accelerator pedal?
