I'm just using it to power a LED light converter.

I ended up tapping into the 12v supply for the factory USB Charging outlet which worked out since it had a 12v+ and ground attached.

Seems to work fine. It's not pulling a whole lot of current. But I do agree, if I ever wanted a radio or sub, I'd just add another 12v battery specifically for that.

Lucky for me, I'm not into all the boom. I just use a small rechargeable speaker and carry it with me.
