The Jakes torque spring--white--and the one from Redhawk--red, I believe, are super stiff and will decrease your top speed. They have also been known to destroy clutch sheaves because of there stiffness.
You mentioned something better. Get a Plowmans secondary. All new sheaves--not China junk--a Plowmans belt, and a spring suited for your needs.
