Default Time for a new clutch

Hey guys. I believe it's time to replace my primary clutch. I dont know a whole lot about the clutches. What is best to replace with? Also, the clutch spring on the rear clutch, is this something I should replace?
Any advice and input would be much appreciated!

I’ll save you some time and research. Call Don at Plowmans carts!
He’s a Yamaha expert, I just ordered the full high performance kit for my G29.

Lookup his website, think it’s plowmanscarts.com

If your front is messed up, your rear one may be bad also.
I had the same issues on my g29.
Two options, but it depends on your intentions with it and wallet.
Budget, upgrade both to the newer clutch design. It was around $450
Plowmans, around $650 shipped.
I went with Plowmans, but I should have went with the $450 newer clutch design as I’d been happy that way also.

Gboost also runs the same clutch setup as others have mentioned. Its the OEM clutch, same as Plowmans at the exact same price. The newer style will have a rubber plug on the end of the dust cover.

This is the one that’s the updated clutches for a g29 if I recall.
But shop around with those part numbers as when I searched years back, I found it cheaper than this eBay link. You will also need to buy or rent the clutch puller to remove your old clutch.
