2019 Drive Rattle/Vibration

How the heck do I get that crazy plastic cover that is around my muffler off??????

Tried starting it briefly (not driving it) to verify that where the rattle noise was from? I haven't had to try that disassembly yet. Im at a Yami dealer, and not yet seen a "new plastic housing" muffler issue with those. (Guess if I did I would have the advantage of "some other crappy, but not broken, muffler" to try for a minute. IE: no heatshield to rattle, so no driving, but just for a quick test). 2019 with no warranty for the dealer to fix?

I will test it as you have said. Yes, I do have a warranty, but its a ways to the dealer and the only trailer I have is my 42' toy hauler. I'll wait till a few more things go wrong (if they do) then take it over and have everything fixed at once.

NEW UPDATE: Rattle? What rattle.........I gave up on trying to get that cover off and put it all back together.........Now we I drive it, I just don't hear the rattle

I understand the frustration in getting there, but consider it a "win". You accidently tightened / moved / bent whatever was rattling so you were at least on the right track and the noise is gone.

Is the noise gone, or is he being sarcastic?

I just saw your year, my 17 rattles like it’s in the rear.
You can hear a faint rattling while driving.
I thought I read somewhere it’s in the rear end or clutch.

Ya, I'm not sure where it is, I can't find it. I guess maybe I'm wrong but when you pay what we do for these things I would expect better.

I wonder if it’s under warranty and they know the fix
