Default What to use on the black plastic

I was wondering what kind of products do people use on the black plastic trim to make it look pretty again?
Thanks

Heat gun works the best.

Search youtube there's plenty of videos. and practice on something spare laying around, or somewhere inconspicuous first until you get the technique down.

Turtle Wax Trim Restorer.
A little goes a long way. Keeps it looking new & shiny.

Tire black in an aerosol can works good for making them shiny, but if they're dull and aged looking, the heat gun trick is the way to go.

I could fill a cabinet with everything that I've tried over the years and I have a hands down new favorite, everything else can go into the trash! This stuff is called "Blak" and its not cheap but without question the best stuff I've ever used. It has some kind of black material that actually re-colors the plastic.

Blak The Permanent PROTECTANT - Restore Faded Black, Renew Plastic, Rubber, and Vinyl Color, Prevents Dry Rot on Tires – Weatherproof, UV Block, Dry-Seal – 16oz Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005PODERM..._kPGTCbM8ZVHET

I like the finish with just the core product and I don't use the other satin and gloss products.

This stuff is unreal. Solution Finish.

Apply once a year if that and you're good.

I have used the 303 Aerospace Protectant and it seems to work ok. Need to do it a few times a year.

I like the amount of UV block in the 303 Aerospace and still use it on everything thats not dark gray/black. On vinyl convertible tops and car interiors it's fantastic!

I've used the aerosol before, but like you said only lasts for a few weeks. Heat gun you just have to do it once and it lasts for years so that's all I use anymore.
