G9 issues
I just got this cart runs good. Until battery dies, it’s not charging. Then I find the green and red wire out of starter are unplugged, so I plug them in fire it up, still not charging. And with them plugged in cart keeps turning over after pedal is released.any ideas? Am I fighting 2 problems? I tried grounding out the green wire to Vr and still not charging. Brushes in starter look like new. I haven’t taken starter apart yet. Thanks for your help!

Re: G9 issues
make sure that the switch up under the throttle isn't stuck in for the rolling over problem. normally if it rolls over it will charge but there may be a problem with the regulator or it might have a broken wire in the harness because with the age of these machines they tend to have worn sections in the harness and brake.

Re: G9 issues
Agreed. Teat wire continuity between the starter/generator and voltage regulator (with all wires disconnected) to make sure the harness is in tact. And verify VR has a good ground as well. I've seen several G2/G9 with melted brown ground wires coming off the VR
