That's odd. Usually the frame is the last thing to go. I would love to hear the story of why it was the first to go.

Re: hey guys, look what a got yesterday...
Wow. Think the best bet is to strip it, scrap the frame and put that golf cart on a shelf. The good parts left from it are probably enough to save a dozen other carts from a fate in the bushes behind the garage!
I'd think trying to just replace the frame is going to be more problematic than youd expect... every bolt securing the motor, body, etc is likely as rusted as the frame. Be better off buying another cart with a blown or no engine to build. Depending on what the swingarm and axle look like, may be a good parts cart to buy a cheap electric one with no electronics and converting to gas |

Re: hey guys, look what a got yesterday...
I have a G14 gas that is my daily driver. As in myrtle beach you can use the cart as a means of transportation to and from all the stores legal on the roads. What would be involved to use the engine in the G14? I'm a retired mechanic of 50 years.

If you're ever in Alabama, I have a G16 parts cart with a great frame but needs a motor and rear end.

That’s a common Yamaha problem. Seen that a few times unfortunately.
