yamaha g16 flywheel shroud
How to i get the bottom bolt out to remove the flywheel shroud? If i go in from the side i hit the shroud and the tubing for the platform to hold engine an thr bottom theres a skid plate riveted on

You take the engine loose from the mounting plate. It may seem intimidating and time/labor intensive, but much quicker and easier by taking the engine loose.

I just use a 1/4" drive extension with a swivel at the end, with short 10mm socket. Its not the easiest bolt I ever dealt with, but far from the worst. Never really had that much trouble with it. I have never loosened the motor to do the job.
