Default Frayed electrical wires on 2008 rxv

Long time lurker on these forums - have really appreciated the info I’ve read on many different topics. But finally needed to post as I’m not sure what I’m dealing with.

What started out as troubleshooting why the headlights aren’t working, turned into a head scratcher on frayed cables.

The cart runs fine so not really sure if the frayed cables are an issue (although I’m assuming it has something to do with the headlights). In the one picture the cables were actually burnt into the plastic right behind the charging port (picture number 1 below).

I also noticed some cables that looked pretty bad behind the dash (picture number 2 below).

Anyways I thought I’d post this to see if anyone has any thoughts on what could have happened to those cables (and what they could be for)

Are you running a 12 volt convertor for your accessories like headlights, ect.?
If not looks like battery pack voltage was sent thru those wires toasting them.
Guessing all burnt wires are going to low/12 voltaccessories? Horn, head lights, tail lights ect. Not control voltage reason cart runs fine.

Not sure what I have to be honest. This was a used cart that I picked up so I’ll take a look and see how it is wired. I imagine I need to install a 12 volt converter. The only low voltage devices are head lights and tail light. Thanks for the input.
