Check the spark like I outlined. Dont use an inline spark tester, they provide misleading results. I think you've got a failing coil or ignitor.

OK, got back to cart. Don't have a timing lot. I went to a new coil first and now it doesn't spark at all. I feel like it does for the 1st second then gone. I will do the dodge igniter next. In your post g9 sputters and dies you gave a link to a ballast resistor. That link is now invalid. Where does it go in the diagram? Thank you

okay, so the ignitor pick up was replaced, engine re assembled and re isntalled. no spark, turns over fine by using the pedal.

i have all the wiring diagrams, but i need to find out how to test the ignitor box, sensors, coil, etc. I cant find any diagnostics for these.

i want to know how many V, ohms etc i need to see and where i need to see them. does anyone know any of these diag specs?
