Will a faulty micro switch cause ground problems in solenoid
Hi, great forum. 1999 cc ds. 48 volt. When testing the micro switch from FNR the black/white wire is showing 8 volts instead of 51v. Cart batteries test at 51. Cart in neutral, pedal depressed, green/white wire is 51v. Cart in fwd, pedal depressed, black/white show 8v. Should be 51? Also no clicking on solenoid. Solenoid is good. Don’t seem to have ground. Bypass obc with ground and the solenoid clicks and cart moves? Could the micro switch be the cause of the no ground.? Or is this 2 problems that happened at once? Thanks Jim
No power on small terminals of solenoid. Not if I take one pos lead to post, then neg to the other post. Get 51 volts if I take ground from battery pack to either terminal. Separately. If that makes sense. Thanks |
