Default Installed Digital voltmeter, what should it read

I installed a dvm or digital panel meter on the 1999 36v dcs cart, when charging for a few hours it said 41.2v. I thought this was high enough so I unplugged it. Ran it around the yard a few times and now resting at 38.1v

Your cart should charge up to 44-46 volts before shutting off my itself. After 12 hours it should read around 38.3v'

Let charger shut itself off going thru complete charge.
Do not unplug based on volt meter reading as charger needs to go thru bulk, equalize stage to fully charge batteries. Your batteries will benefit if you allow charger to do it’s complete charge cycle 😊

Here is what Trojan says about charging voltages ... other battery brands may vary from this.
