Default Replacing 1 pin in the controller harness

I have an ezgo pds cart with a burnt pin on the 10 pin wiring harness going in to the controller. I would like to replace just the one burnt pin. Any advice on removing that pin so I can replace it? I cant seem to get it out.

Pick up a pin out tool such as this.

How do you get the pin put though? I had several thing that were small enough to fit in there, but pushing on the pin the pin from the front while pulling on the wire on the back and I couldnt get it to budge.

If the pin burned it may have melted part of the connector and plastic welded itself in place. Does the pin move at all? Usually they should move side to side or in and out just a little bit. If there's no movement at all you'll need a new connector.

The pin is flared at the back. You can't pull it out. The pin out tool slides over the pin and squeezes it in so you can easily pull the wire out through the hole in the connector.
