Default Yamaha G2 limited slip

Anyone know if there is a limited slip for the Yamaha G2 rear end?

Sorry, none that I know of for the old (super tough) Yamaha built axles. If it were a newer Dana 12 axle, a few options would exist. Not a cheap swap tho, new motor & new axle. Not sure which newer axle would be a "bolt-in" replacement, maybe g14e or g16e? The old axle used a different spline pattern that wont allow your motor to fit on the newer axle where posi is easy.

I forgot to mention its for a gas rear end but from what research I have been doing there is nothing either way which sucks. I can get one for my G22 but not a G2. Is there that big of a difference between the gears in the generations?

Huge difference, total different axle from different factory. it's not the gears that get the Posi parts, it's the ring gear carrier. Dana gas & electric axles can get it. Old Yamaha-built axles (G & E) never had any posi offered. And I did screw up about your cart being electric. Doesn't make a difference, still can't get a posi.
