Default 1989 ezgo

I have the listed cart and need some help. Replaced the fuel pump, carburetor loaded up more gas, new plugs etc and it won't stay running. Has good spark , combustion etc and it just won't stay running , it's firing but won't continue to run I just don't know where to go at this point, could use some help.

Since you said plugs, it must be a twin cylinder 4 stroke. Adjust the valves, and then wait for Trig123, and a couple of the 4 stroke guys to help you out.

1989 should be 2 stroke.

Do a leak down test. I’m willing to bet your crank seals are blown out.

Don’t run it until they’re fixed if so, it’ll run mega lean, overheat, and either seize or grenade.

I stared right at the 1989, and it didn't sink in. I must have been thinking about building my grapple bucket instead.

The 3-pg manual is in post #25. https://buggiesgonewild.com/showthre...=105501&page=3

Tell us the compression too.

It’s usually the seal underneath the flywheel.

The flywheel is either really easy to remove or a nightmare, never really much in-between. Either way you’ll need to remove the motor to get to it.
