EzGo TXT
So I talked to someone yesterday they have a 2012 TXT & they told me about removing there factory governor from there transaxle which it should be a ME29 I believe.
They said by doing so the cart ran 53 mph, I am calling bullsh*t, Can anyone confirm or disagree? They have the 22 predator with a cam and aftermarket speed gears. I have a 22hp BB & running 6:1 gears and can only run 38 with just me on there and at that point I am at my boiling point with my engine's RPMs to get it that fast . I am unsure of there tire size but i have brand new 22x11x12 MT tires but that doesn't make up for the the extra 14+ MPH Please let me know your feedback, thanks in advanced!! |

Re: EzGo TXT
With a built Vtwin with high speed gears and taller tires carts other than the Club Cars with the CW gearing you should be able to cross the 50 mph mark. Here are the #'s from the speed calculator. 5000 RPM ,6:1 gears, 22" tires = 54.5 mph. More revs or taller tires this speed could even be faster provided you have the HP to pull the revs.
