Re: Club Car IQ, Blowing Speed Sensor?
Well all in all it seems that the motor might have been the culprit in the first place, and a problem can happen with shipping sometimes. This builder took care of his problem like a professional should so hats off to him. And your results sound terrific as well. Is he located in Florida?

Re: Club Car IQ, Blowing Speed Sensor?
dtkana - did you, by chance, try the replacement motor with the ORIGINAL controller, or was it only with the newer one you replaced it with?
I have a VERY similar problem, and have already committed to getting a PQ Bandit, but was hoping to eliminate the controller as a potential issue to my 8mph problem. Added to the strangeness of my own problem is the fact that the regen appears to be disabled (no slowing on downhills) -- is that even possible with a factory motor/controller set to 1???? |

Re: Club Car IQ, Blowing Speed Sensor?
Thanks Gleemo - so if the speed sensor is bad - according to multiple threads and even this one, the PQ Bandit will fix the issue since it bypasses/tricks the speed sensor, right?
