Will 20x11x10's fit w/out a lift?
Do I need a lift for these tires? They are factory supplied take-offs (Trail Wolf). I have an 06 model TXT that I'll be putting them on...I just wanted to get some opinions on what to do. I can buy a set of them for $200, but I already own a set of 22x11x8's brand new, but I definitely need a lift to use them...

The 20s should fit without issues depending upon how worn your leaf springs are and what load you are carrying.....

i put that wheel/tire combo under many carts w/o lifts. you will get frt rub if you flex the suspension while turning. That wheel/tire combo looks awesome to me with the EZGO 2" lift. Their 2" lift is basically HD frt and rear springs with frt shocks.

Like courtesy said, get the HD springs (2"lift). Looks great, no rub, rides better.

Re: Will 20x11x10's fit w/out a lift?
Ok, well I ended up getting the 20's and he threw in an 1" aluminum block spacer for the front that lifts it and extends it an inch and is going to install it and add some longer brackets for the rear and extend the steering shaft as well as shock extenders. Has anyone done this type of lift? Ill post pics when its done...Could be next week, but was hoping to have it ready for opening day in SC this weekend...

Well he showed me pics from the shop he works for doing them this way, and its one of the more popular well known shops in town...I have not installed this yet...I was assuming this was a common lift...Now Im thinking about just getting a lift and not mess with this spacer kit...I will be putting the tires on this afternoon to see what kind of clearance issues I have...Thanks for the input...

I ran across this a while a go and bookmarked it for my future use:

Re: Will 20x11x10's fit w/out a lift?
Well I got em on there and the only time they rub going straight is if I hit a large hole, but when turning left they hit with the slightest bump, would not recommend this tire combo w/out a lift. it rubs the frame piece that sticks out by the steering setup. If you were determined to make it work I'm sure this piece of frame could be cut down, but it just doesn't look right to me...It needs a lift...And if I put a lift on it, I think Im gonna want the 22" tire...We'll see...I'll post some pics tomorrow...too dark to get a pic right now...

Sounds to me like stated earlier you have weak springs. If you do a lift, replace those springs, you will thank me later.
