EZGO TXT battery replacement
I have a model 27647-go1. I need to replace some of the batteries, but cannot get the brace off. There is a brace across all 6 batteries that appeared to be connected by 2 bolts. However, i removed the bolts and the brace will not budge? Help? Anyone know of a trick to remove the brace???

Re: EZGO TXT battery replacement
That brace can be a bear to get off sometimes. I take a small pry bar and slide it under the edge of the bracket. Be carefull and not 2 poke a hole in the battery. I have also been known to take a rubber mallet and wack it a few times to get it off. Mayb someone wlse will have a better suggestion.

Re: EZGO TXT battery replacement
That battery hold down has a 6-way separator under it to keep the batteries from touching. It's just wedged in there. Place a block of wood on the battery and pry it up like COURTESYCART said.
