just took the main shaft out that goes through the contacts on the switch, cleaned the shaft with some emery cloth, rubbed a thin layer of grease on it and put it back together. moves smooth and easy now. still not as simple as a toggle switch but much better. with a shifter like madoc I bet it would be perfect, 36.99 sounds so much better than 230.00

ahhh but think how much nicer it is to use a toggle switch...... Just kidding. The toggle switch wors really well, but the cost is rather high for those solenoids. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to pay for quality......
