3 wheel electric ez go

Hi, I'm new to forum & carts. My son bought me a 3 wheel ez go as a project for the campground. I went to the ez go model & year lookup, I entered the an 760429 and it said it was a 93 electric 4 wheel Marathon. Did they make the Marathon in a 3 wheel? I really need to know year & model, there are no batteries or charger. I will need a wiring diagram as many of the wires are just dangling. It's a big project for a newbie. Any help will be appreciated.

I can't help with body style or year, but the drive system will probably be one of the two types attached. (Controller or Resistor)

The nice thing is that EZGO didn't re-invent the wheel every year like the auto companies did and the basic wiring stayed pretty much the same over the production span of the models and didn't vary too much between models.


Pictures of the cart and pictures under the seat would help those familiar with older carts to identify it.

Thanks JohnnieB, it's definitely a resistor cart. The wiring diagram looks correct. Now I just need the year & model. Then the fun begins!!??

Glad it helped a little.

Leave the last digit or two off your serial number and the look-up site site will give you a number to call and a e-mail address.

Also posting pictures of your cart will bring out the people that know.
I suspect some are still nursing hangovers or bruised egos from yesterday.

Since the cart is basically a motor and wheels, it might be a good time to convert it to a controller cart. They are much more efficient.
