ok so its just not me, now i want to know where it goes......these are the things that cause problems because there should not be any wire like that coming off the battery pack.....thats a breakdown waiting to happen depending on where the other end is................................

The "red" wire looked to me to be similar to what you'd wire trailer lights with. That wire runs to the charge receptical and should be at least 10 ga. I am replacing that wire along with every other wire on the cart as time and money allows.

Speaking of wires I have seen battery cables priced from 5 wires for 15 bucks all the way to a complete set for over $200. Am I going to see a marked improvement in performance of a 36 olt cart for my moolah?

you don,t have to spend 200 bucks but yes please get rid of any funky wires and cables......buy yourself a 40 dollar set of premium 4 gage battery cables and a roll of good 10 gage wire and save your money..........than call scotty have him make you a set of his cables.............as for improvments none that you,ll notice but you won,t have to worry about cables and wires getting so hot they melt everything or catch fire........thats an improvment.....................
