Remove steering column
I opened the clamp bolt on the bottom holding the spline, removed the bolt under dash.
The drawing shows a lock ring but can see it. Does the split block need to be removed to get to the ring? help! |

Read beginning page 7-2 . . should be helpful . . section "Steering Column Removal" . . not same year, but probably same method:
