Thanks for the reply. I got the motor diag from a local cart shop. Said there may be a brush stuck or a faulty wire??? After researching on here many have described the controller but that it was full throttle then would go slower (as backwards 5-0 instead of the 0-5) not the same as mine as it just seems it is stuck on full throttle but yes I do beleive the bark should be at the mc rebuilder. I will contact them in the am to also find out the procedure to test the controller. If it is backwards is it simple to repair or return worthy?

We had the EXACT same thing one time, and it was the replacement controller... no slow speed at all it was WOT..

Well finally decided to revisit the club car to resolve the issue. Finally got it figured out. It was three wires between the b & m on the controller were reversed. thank goodness it was an easy fix. Had we not let it sit for a while and rethink the options. we probably would have removed the motor, controller etc etc etc then drove it in the pond. I guess patience does pay sometimes. Back in the cart again yee hah!!!
