2002 ezgo gas running hot

bought two same year same one runs hot and low power other good power butt back fires want to cure both

check you fan make sure none of the blades are not broken, take off top motor shroud and check for forgin material [grass ,nest] then check muffler they get loaded up with carbon .
2nd cart check valves first thing , test ride if still doing it adjust the carb.

All golf carts run a little hot not much air get to the engines. Nature of the beast.
