Re: Need recommendations for DS headlights
Yes and I've mounted them — I haven't responded because I haven't ran the wiring yet to try them out. (19 hrs later I'm still working on my vinyl wrap ). They "appear" to have loads of adjustment, Ill report back with pics of exactly how much as soon as I can try them out. Best part of installation — even though the template showed I needed to trim my existing hole bigger, new lights fit no problem.
First impressions are great — I have to give another shout out to Stevegrmich for recommending them. These are the highest quality CC lights I've seen. Even the Bezels are a thicker plastic then I've seen before, lenses are thick glass mounted to thick aluminum back with plenty of room to go HID in the future, the quick disconnects have a silicone seal to keep the elements out, all the wire is pre-installed in loom to the correct length and comes with a heavy duty pull switch. ...the whole kit just feels solid. Brand is RedHawk and everything I've ever gotten from them has been top-notch. Make sure and call our sponsors, give them a chance to see if they can match this deal: $78.50 is a stinking STEAL! |

Update: Ran wiring tonight and then ran around to test them. After some adjustment they now light up where I'm going instead of the trees :) ...but I also have them adjusted all the way down. So no more room if the back gets heavy with cargo. Its still worlds better than what I had before. Hope this helps, if you need more info or detail just ask.
