Compression is 180 on both cyl .... It will not start at all with just one plug wire ..... The plugs are now black and wet so she it over fueling ..... Got a few more RPM's by loosening the spring on the governor .... it will now take off on flat land without the air breather system installed but will not pull up a hill it dies all together not enough RPM to engage clutches

had a 1200 workhorse with 350, i tried everything, ignition coil fired both plugs but still would not run good. tried a good ignition coil from another cart and problem solved.

Is that 90 x 2 equals 180? Or 180 per cylinder?

There is definitely something wrong with your cart. My compression is just 160 per cylinder but it starts with only one wire connected to one spark plug!

Try starting without the air filter connected. It could be a clogged filter.

It sounds like it is flooding. Once the cart starts, disconnect the pulse line to the fuel pump and see if it runs normal for a short bit.
