New owner 1992 gas marathon
I have emailed ezgo for a manual, this cart is an orphan I bought at a scrap yard today! engine turns, so it can't be far from making noise. I'm looking for seat bottom and backs.

Welcome to the Smokers Lounge. If I'd have seen that cart we'd have been fighting over it. Good score!
My wife actually redid the seats on mine. It's not absolutely perfect but it looks presentable and works well. |

Re: New owner 1992 gas marathon
Hmm, somewhere between an 88 and 93 but if I had to guess based on sill plates, cupholders, etc it's likely an 88 Marathon Spirit GX444 ... What's the serial and mfr code, I'd like to see how on (or off) I am with the guess, LOL

Have you had a battery in it yet? Any signs of life? Outwardly it looks better than the 88 I got given to me.

Re: New owner 1992 gas marathon
Wow, that really looks like an 88, but hey I've been wrong before, LOL (and of course the code proves me dead wrong) ... if it's a 295, start by checking for spark, if that's there then hit the "stickies" at the top of the "Gas EZGO" threads and follow the procedure to adjust your valves correctly, pull your carb and clean the jets really well, make sure the fuel pump is working by pulling the hose to the carb and turning it over - if all these are in order You should be running, if any one of these things isn't happening then we at least have a direction to start helping You

You guys are a great help, thank you. Got another one given to me today, no engine, but 2 rear tires are perfect, and mine are rotted!
