MadJax 48v - 12v reducer locations
I have a 2010 CC Precedent excel. Any ideas on where to mount the reducer? Can it be mounted under the rear of the cart on the frame above the shock or does it have to be protected from the mud, dust, ect ?
Thanks |

Two things, keep it cool with air flow if possible and yes keep it clean and away from moisture.
I think some guys are mounting theirs under the front cowl. |

Might have gotten a little carried away, but got the inverter from ScottyB and installed mine behind dash in one of the trays. Cut a 4 inch hole, installed a 12 volt dc computer fan under the reducer. Now hidden and out of the way, no moisture or mud going to get to it. Wired it to fuse panel and comes on when reducer does.
