Here is what I based my measurements on out of my maintenance manual. I would love to hear from "forum expert" Tahoe and "Old Fart" CTD. Sometimes experience is better than manuals.

1/8" is what i have used

Thanks Folks. I will adjust both camber and toe in to 1/8". I will then spray tire tread and make sure the are running true.

But excuse what is probably a stupid question...... why would you purposely toe it out of alignment? Seems to me that even with 1/8in the front tires would be scrubbing their way down the road. I woudl think that you'd want to shoot for as close to zero as reasonably possible.
What am i missing?

One related concept is that the proper toe for straight line travel of a vehicle will not be correct while turning, since the inside wheel must travel around a smaller radius than the outside wheel; to compensate for this, the steering linkage typically conforms more or less to Ackermann steering geometry, modified to suit the characteristics of the individual vehicle.

Tread wear pattern is not correct. Now I have to tweak.

I know that when the toe in is 0 the cart seems to wonder around.

I actually have my buggy toed out 1/8 because of the knobies. I guess the factory setting are for stock cart not lifted and with bigger ties and grips.

Even your daily driver car is toed in slightly when leavimg the factory or being lined up by a professional shop. Like Crash explained, it has to be so it will handle right. Just try driving something lined right on the money with 0 toe-in, it is miserable because it will want to wander.
