Golf Cart Weight Estimate?
I'm looking into a cheap foldable trailer from Harbor Freight and was curious if the 1200lbs rated 4X8 footer would work? My garage is really tight so I need a collapsible trailer. I'm looking to run this thing on the highway between 60 and 75 mph for upwards of 200 miles. I know it's not ideal but will it work? Has anyone else used these:

My 2008.5 Precedent with 4 batteries weighs under 870 lbs, I think DS weighs more because they have more metal and batteries.

I've been using one of those for about 6 months. Hauls my ezgo with no problem. I have a friend who hauls his Harley on one. We haven't had any problems.

just took a look at the link and there is no way I would pull that trailer at 60 mph let alone pull at 75 mph with tire size of 4.8 X 12 . a standard truck / SUV tire size is almost double in size, so when your truck is doing 60 that little tire/bearing/axles are doing twice as much.

I have heard a lot of stories of where the wheel bearings go because of the high speeds and they are some speciality bearing you can't get. Read the reviews, it's all in there.

Your cart looks really nice. I wouldn't risk it. You will have the trailer maxed out, you still have to add a floor, so maybe overloaded. That is Not good, you will have to have tongue weight right or you'll never get to 60/70mph from trailer sway, could be violent. Also I would buy 2 spare tires going almost 200mi., just to be on the safe side. Now, this is just my opinion. I buy a few things from them, mainly blk nitrile gloves (they probably have lead in them lol)

The words "Heavy Duty" and "Folding Utility Trailer" do not belong in the same sentence. For your safety, your cart's safety, and the safety of everyone else on the road, I strongly recommend a heavier duty "real" trailer.
