Re: Project Sneaky
Well a run report for the Sneaky Project. 36v to 48v conversion, 500 Flight Systems controller, HD solenoid, HD F&R switch, 2ga wires, and the stock 30 year old CC motor. Bought it not running for $200, invested in tires, lift kit and electronic goodies from Scottyb and it is running great. With two people it ran 16 flicking to 17 mph. Handles great, rolls over curbs and up the hills no problems, love the IFS. Will run it till the motor wears out then call PQ Paint and body work this week.

Re: Project Sneaky
Way to go Sneaky. It is a great feeling when the project comes together isn't it.
We want pictures when you get the body work and paint done. With everything else you have upgraded, when you go PQ you are going to get a dramatic speed/torque improvement. 16MPH is nothing to sneeze at but you will probably double that with the PQ. |

Re: Project Sneaky
Yeah it know it can be faster with a new PQ motor. Thanks for the help Jedotx!
When the old motor wears out then it will get upgraded. I'm just glad the whole project worked out and it is running. I am thinking about wrapping the cart instead of paint. It is a toss up right now. Will post some pictures when complete. |
