48v precident
I am thinking of replacing my batteries in my 05 CC due to the age, I see some people say to thange to 8v, where do the extra 2 batteries fit? And is that the best bang for the buck?

Re: 48v precident
have you ever run the 4 x 12s down to where you could not get home ?
it's how much you use your cart not what every one else does. not sure of the price but 6 vs 4 not sure your saving any money either way ! maybe just run yours till they can't |

Re: 48v precident
Club Car sells a kit to swap to 6-8v batteries. Best advantage of 8v batteries is a longer run time. Kit comes with a new battery rack. You can use your original 48v charger.

Also, if you have or are planning any 12v accessories, you'll have to deal with those somehow with 8v batteries. You'll either have to run a separate 12v battery or get into voltage reducers/converters, etc. as you won't have a single 12v source to go to anymore. |
