When you took picture number 4 and 6 it shows that you have NO CONNECTION from MASTER SOLENOID ( one with white and blue cables connected ) to the rest of the speed solenoids on each bank? Usually its flat brass stock with holes drilled to match solenoids? Had you taken them off to do testing or replacements?

I thought so, but wondered if you had some other special kind of connections. Yes diagram would be great.

so if i read this right if you have two complete resistor style systems you can run them seperately to avoid overloading resistors and still apply 48/60 volts to motor? nothing special in the way the are hooked to motor or the way they are wired other than there is two sets as opposed to one?

correct. i will post a wiring diagram today. the two sets of solenoids simply split the the voltage. before i installed two sets i was burning up solenoids almost as fast as i could install them since installing the second set of 5 i havent burned up even one in over two years.

If you are getting 28 MPH on a cart with old style micro speed control and 2 banks of resistores and solenoids I just wonder what you would be able to do with modern speed control and solid state controller? Of course at top speed ALL the resistors and 8 solenoids are out of line so you could really be getting much better full range of power from 10=6 volt batterys ( each T-145 Trojan 260 AMPS rated 60 volts TOTAL ), or 8=8volt batterys ( Trojan T-890 190 AMP Rated total 64 volts ) rather than 5=12 volt batterys ( Trojan T-1275 150 AMPS Rated Total 60 Volts )?

im not sure. i know i used 12volts because i couldnt afford 10/6volt batteries nor was i sure how i would fit them all in. Im working on the wiring diagram now boy this is tuff to draw out & not confuse everyone. LOL
