Re: looking for LOUD flasher
Get a 12v piezo alert from Radio Shack for a couple of bucks and wire it across 2 terminals of the flasher and it will beep every time the light flashes.
They look like this: |

Re: looking for LOUD flasher
I saw that suggested somewhere else as well. When you say wire to the flasher do you mean just attach the wires to any of the three prongs and just plug it back in?

Re: looking for LOUD flasher
Yes the 2 outside prongs of the flasher and you're done.
If it's too loud like mine, put a piece of tape over the hole. |

Re: looking for LOUD flasher
Hey Doug, one more (dumb) quick question. When I attach wire to the flasher - did you just wrap the wire around the base of the terminals?
Found the buzzer at Radio Shack by the way, thanks. |

You can use one of these tap-ins: Or one of these double stack (top one): Or just put 2 wires into one of these: |

Re: looking for LOUD flasher
I am trying to do the same thing, but I'm confused. Using those connectors, how would you plug the flasher back in? Do I need to take the back off of the flasher and use a wire inside of it?
Do I need to buy a flasher with a wire connection on the back? Thanks, LJ |

Re: looking for LOUD flasher
Plug the flasher in and use the first photo item (tap-in) on the wire that leads to the flasher receptacle.
