Default 97 club car multi-step potentiometer

Dose any one have a diagram of resistor placement on a 0-5k multistep potentiometer? I have a 97 48v club car that was changed from a variable to a multistep potentiometer. It should read 0-5k but some one rebuilt it and now it reads 5k-0.
Correct me if im wrong.

thanks

If its got a silver controller then its a 5k - 0 if its got a black controller then its 0 - 5k. typically the 0 - 5k was a 2 wire v-glide and the 5 - 0 is a 3 wire. Hope that helps
