Default FSIP Install question

I have the FX503 mounted to my precedent but I had to cut the electronics box on the back of the battery box to get it to fit.

Is it ok if the controller gets wet during operation?... there is a possibility that it could get splashed but probably not drenched..

Also, the instructions say to remove the diode on the solenoid so I did.. the cart works fine but I just wanted to make sure I didn't need the diode...

thanks

Well....they are supposedly sealed, I have washed mine I just don't spray the controller directly. I wouldn't worry too much about it getting splashed a little. Dont completely submerge it.

The fx 503 is a sealed unit unlike the alltrax which is not, you will be fine.
The instructions say to remove the diode, so you are fine.

thanks scottginfla... I figured it was sealed because of the rubber grommets on the terminals and rubber seal for the main wire harness...

it shouldn't get too wet because its on the back of the battery box and I have a 6 inch lift also..
