Reverse alarm sounds in Forward, wont go forward or reverse

In this case the sequence of events is going to be as important as the events themselves.

Where is this reducer / resistor how big (size of three pencil erasers with wire coming out both ends.

Was the resistor/reducer replaced when the controller was replaced ?

you will need to call your husband and find out if its a reducer or a resistor ?
do you have a radio or lights ?

When the unit is in reverse and you step on the pedal does the main solenoid click ?

Is the cart now taking a charge ?? or after the red hot resistor/reducer you have not attempted to charge it again ??

pull the seat up and you will see a switch middle front what posistion is it in.
