Re: Quick Question
Well, the Gabriels that were supposed to fit did not work out . . collapsed length tooo long with bushings installed . . . I have 12" of space in between the mounting points after installing the HD springs . . . I looked real quick at Monroe's for 67 Camaro but they are not stud mounts on both ends . . . may have looked at wrong ones based on engine size, not sure . . so now I am stuck temporarily . . none of local Auto Zone types are mechanics and can only look up parts based on Make/Model of car . . . not by application/length/etc . . .

Re: Quick Question
The original shocks will fit you just have to settle them into the mount and tighten not much thread to start but plenty to connect them properly. They worked for me with the same spring setup. Good luck! Randy

Re: Quick Question
Thanks for the response but this will not work for me . . . my stock shocks FULLY extended are only 11.5" long from outside of inner bushing to outside of opposite inner bushing . . I would have to somehow lower the height of cart by .5" just to make contact with inner mounting surface of the mounting points for the shocks . . . then when bolted in place, the new HD springs would spring back attempting to regain their "new normal" height and the shocks would be under constant pressure keeping them fully extended at all times . . . plus the old stock shocks are basically "dead", ie, will remain in any position I extend them to with no "recoil" left in the cylinder . . .

Re: Quick Question
I did . . not very helpful . . problem is finding one with the right compressed/extended length to fit the 12" opening between mounting points . . will call CC dealer today to see if the 99 Fairway (4 passenger) had a different shock than the DS that may work for me . . hopefully the Fairway had HD springs on it with longer shock . . .

Re: Quick Question - RESOLVED
Just got back from Holland, Mi . . . talked to a guy at a place that builds street legal carts . . his advice is to forget about the shocks because they won't matter with the HD springs . . . so it is written, so it shall be done . . .
