Default battery light indicator

Is there a way to test the battery light indicator on an 08 Precedent? I have never seen the light come on and I am wondering if it even works.

From the manual: Unplug your charger cord or take your pack voltage down by using your cart past 48/47 volts.

Mine has never come on either. I tried unplugging the charger and it still didn't. Is there a way to replace the bulb in it or could there be another problem?

I pulled the indicator light out and removed the bulbs. There is one incandescent and one led wired in series. When checked for continuity neither is good. I'm a little surprised that both would blow but they have. It would be a simple fix if I had somewhere local that stocked 24v microbulbs and 24v leds but radioshack is it and they don't have either. It looks like I'll be buying the whole assembly (part number 1025087-01 by the way)

@ramblin, mine never worked either, what was the cost on that assembly? Where did you get it?

Thanks, Steve

Steve,

I had trouble finding it for a decent price (most required a $50.00 minimum order) but I ended up getting it for around $22.00 including s/h form that other place that starts with "buggies" and ends in "unlimited". I'll shoot you a PM with the link.
