Cart beeps 3x and cuts out!

I have a 2003 Pathway IQ that occasionally while driving my cart it will lose power and beep three times. If I let off the pedal and push down again, it takes right off. Any ideas? Batteries are strong and fully charged, cables and connectors are clean and tight.
